Sr Proposal Analyst

The Proposal Analyst at Curtiss-Wright Nuclear Division will serve as a representative dealing with internal and external customers including Nuclear Power Plants and suppliers on day-to-day business matters. You will act as a liaison between our Sales and Operational areas within the company, including materials, engineering, production, quality and shipping. The Proposal Analyst will research issues, opportunities, and solutions including but not limited to customer’s needs, resources, order fulfillment, and Terms and Conditions.

Your Challenge:

Reviewing and processing requests for quotations/proposals

Performing various responsibilities relating to the Business Unit’s Quote System including monitoring follow-ups, updating the CRM system, and staff.

Engage with engineering and other groups to select best approach, and when appropriate, seek out product conversion or upgrade opportunities.

Interpreting commercial requirements and technical specifications and applying to our proposal strategy. 

Obtaining bids from suppliers and/or contractors.

Writing and submitting final quotations in accordance with established guidelines.

Reviewing and processing purchase orders for operations.

Supporting expedited customer requests as needed for the business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coordinating the activities involved in the development and revision of major proposals.  May act as a liaison with the Contracts Department as needed in negotiating customer contracts.

Conducting or participating in proposal reviews with management.

Recommending and driving focus on the win strategy throughout the proposal process and infuses that strategy and its resultant tactics effectively throughout the entire proposal.

Responding rapidly to RFP amendments and implements required changes to proposal.

Preparing status reports and briefings for management; prepares, presents, conducts, and participates in reviews at all stages in the proposal.

Maintaining appropriate records and documentation; tracks, monitors, and reports data to support proposal development.

Travel will be required

What You Bring:

4-6 years related experience with Sales and/or Procurement in technical field.

Experience with Software technologies required.

B.S. Degree in a technology field, E.E., C.S., or Nuclear preferred. 

Superior Oral and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines.

Ability to develop strong and trust-worthy relationships with business partners.

Familiar with and proficient in Microsoft office environment including Word, Excel, and Power Point

Detail oriented.
