Sr Project Engineer

The candidate must prioritize all H&S requirements and standards (national, corporate and international always choosing the must rigorous one) on his or her designs, executions and installations.
The Sr. Project Engineer objective is to assure project execution is made complying with the scope and quality standards defined. Ideally but not limited to, the Sr. Project Engineer will support and execute projects related to equipment, tooling, jigs, mechanical and pneumatical systems. 
The Sr. Project Engineer will also act as the expert on supporting the decision making process for the project team and other stakeholders. 
The candidate must keep a good communication channels with other departments involved on the project to assure their requirements and needs are met and communicated to the Project Coordinator.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Prioritize all H&S requirements and standards (national, corporate and international always choosing the must rigorous one) on his or her designs, executions and installations.
- Support the Project Coordinator with the project risk assessment activities, execute agreed mitigation plans and advice/inform the Project Coordinator of any unknow risk.
- Support Project Leaders and Project Team during all phases of project development.
- Determine along with IE, IM the tooling/tools required to perform operations related to the project.
- Sourcing and procurement of equipment, tools, tooling's, jigs, services, etc.
- Properly document and prepare bidding processes following the BRP policies for Sourcing and Procurement.
- Design tools/fixtures as required.
- Coordinate installation of equipment, tools, tooling and services. 
- Manage and record all the CAD Files, specifications, warranties and other important documents related to equipment, tools, tooling and services.
- Assure a flawless and well documented transfer of the equipment's, tools, tooling and services to the final costumer (i.e but not limited to maintenance, production, RAM, IE, IM).
- Create a continuous improvement culture by using BRPMS
- Manage suppliers and contractors during bidding, execution and closing phases of the project.
- Support on the definition of material flow for the projects. 
- Assure the INE (Introduction of New Equipment) process is properly followed and concluded as part of the project closing.
- Support the project team with the validation of electrical, control, pneumatical, mechanical, hydraulical features and installations.
- Any other duties or responsibilities as agreed between the Sr. Mechanical Engineer and the Project Coordinator.
- Work together with Robotic engineer to deliver best result in machinery and equipment design (PLC and programming skills are highly desired).
