Sr Program Owner - Waste Services - Property Management
The pay range is $71,000.00 - $128,000.00

As the Senior Program Owner - Waste Services, you will lead Target’s municipal solid waste (MSW) program and drive special project initiatives with a zero-waste mindset, directly supporting the company’s enterprise sustainability goals through Target Forward. You will be accountable for the overall waste/trash business, including program optimization, process improvements across the network of locations, financial management (budgeting, forecasting, and actuals review), and oversight of external vendor partnerships. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with teams across Property Management, Target Properties, and other key areas such as Finance, Global Supply Chain and Logistics, Store Operations, and Merchandising. You will also lead Target’s Waste Audit Program, using audit insights to track diversion progress and identify opportunities to reduce landfill contributions from recycling and food waste. Leveraging data and analytics, you will identify trends, uncover spend outliers, and drive improvements in service reliability and cost efficiency. About you:

Four-year degree or equivalent experience

5+ years’ relevant experience

Ability to manage projects, set timeliness, multitask, and meet deadlines

Strong analytical, reasoning, organizational skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in public speaking or making presentations

•Strong interpersonal skills, can develop strong relationships with team members at all levels throughout the organization

Experience in the Energy, Conservation, or Sustainability space preferred

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
