Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Manager to lead the integration and coordination of Compute cross-functional marketing initiatives within the marketing program management office and operations team.
As a Sr Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving global alignment across business, marketing, agency, partner, oem partners, sales and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact projects. You will navigate challenges, coordinate closely with functional team members to guide each project to completion.
This position requires exceptional cross-functional collaboration, impeccable organization, Executive communication, follow-through, and collaboration skills, as well as a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include project planning, meeting facilitation, reporting, stakeholder communication, and leading process improvements. You will also spearhead tiger teams, brain trust forums, and other strategic initiatives to ensure timely and effective execution of marketing plans.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Leads the end to end project oversight and coordination, including meeting facilitation, plans, reporting, timelines management across all PMO initiatives.
•Collaborates with key project sponsors and/or PMO and Exec review board to develop project goals, set the prioritization of deliverables, coordinate business processes (e.g., project change management, communication), and facilitate decisions necessary for on-time project delivery.
• Gathers and/or generates requirements (e.g. schedule, stakeholder identification, method and frequency of communication, scope, milestones, prioritization) within a cross-functional team to develop project plans for large and complex projects; designs process architecture which includes swim lane/flow, all responsible parties, touchpoints, and requirements needed for each element in a plan.
• Manages key project metrics and works with team to ensure project success when metrics deviate from Plan of Record.
• Oversees risk mitigation across projects and identifies next steps for decisions based on issues that arise; provides advice and recommendations to more junior team members to resolve difficult situations.
• Communicates to senior stakeholders and keeps an independent opinion; communicates with internal and external customers about issue resolution through schedules, bug trackers, and project status updates.
• Assists in the development, piloting, and training of new tools/methods used for system wide implementation independently.
Level of Responsibility:
• Decision-making is significant in nature and affects work beyond immediate work group.
• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
• Develops and administers process, schedules, and performance standards for functional area within the prescribed objectives of the department.
• Has a great degree of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is directly making key recommendations that will have substantial impact over the organization).
• Tasks often require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; extensive planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Computer Science, or related Program Management field. Ideal candidate will have:
• PMO, PMP, Agile Methodology, or Six Sigma Project Management Certification.
• 10+ years of project management experience or related work experience.
• 5+ years of working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.
• 4+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above).
• 3+ years of experience working with project management tools (e.g., Visio, Smartsheet, Asana, Trello,Sharepoint etc).
• 3+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization. *Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
** Having PMP, CAMP, Prince2, CSM, PI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, CPD Certifications may be substituted for up to four years of work experience

Minimum Qualifications:

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$154,400.00 - $231,600.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
