Product Manager  

 

Brightmine is looking for a Senior Product Manager with several years of product experience to lead product development for our Netherlands portfolio of products, focusing particularly on building and launching a new data product designed for the Flex market. You will work closely with the technology, data science and design teams, defining the product roadmap and shaping the user experience in consultation with key internal stakeholders. 

 

You will own and execute the product strategy for CAO data at Brightmine NL, and have a key role in delivering our commercial growth goals as we revolutionise our product offering to better leverage our market-leading repository of CAO data. You will possess or develop a solid understanding of the customer and target market and will champion the needs of the customer to your delivery team and to key stakeholders. 

 

As part of the global Brightmine product team, you will work with other Product Managers to identify and execute on opportunities to develop Brightmine’s products in a global HR market where Reward, and particularly Reward data and analytics, are growing in importance. This role will be an integral part of the wider Brightmine product team, who own product development across the portfolio. 

 

Responsibilities:  

Develop and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap, functional requirements and development timeline, including: 

Assessing product and feature performance by using data to establish key success metrics and identifying gaps where data is needed Interacting with customers to understand key customer needs and market dynamics Generating new ideas by analyzing product data for insights and gathering input from key internal stakeholders Strategically assessing the NL Flex and HR market, understanding competitor positioning and keeping up to date with the regulatory environment Where appropriate, delivering strong business cases to accelerate our product vision Understanding and prioritizing data privacy and security principles. 

Work collaboratively with your partners in the Technology, UX and Data Operations teams, including: 

Defining and prioritizing the effort from the engineering team to deliver maximum value against key metrics and commercial goals ​Working with the UX team to define user experience concepts and journeys, by gathering customer insights via multiple methods from analytics to user tests Liaising with our data scientists and data engineers to maximise the value of the CAO data model. Develop close relationships with commercial stakeholders to ensure they are aligned and are effectively executing on the product roadmap, including: Delivering clear value propositions and go to market launch plan for CAO, in partnership with Sales, Marketing and Content Working with Customer Success and Operations to ensure our users are highly engaged and have a consistently high-quality user experience 

Championing best in class Product Management skills and practices by: 

Demonstrating good Product practice to other functions Learning from your colleagues in the wider Product team while also sharing your strengths and experiences Participating and contributing to process improvement activities, bringing your experience and creativity to create and support change Leading by example helping to ensure company culture and values are embedded across Product and championed with your partners and stakeholders in other functions. 
 

About You:  

5+ years of commercial B2B product management, with experience in developing and delivering data-led products in an agile environment A proactive problem-solver with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with evidence-based product management decision making, including the use of customer analytics and user testing to support prioritization A champion of the user and their needs, with experience in creating and conducting user insight programs Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with close attention to detail and accuracy Evidence of building strong relationships with high-performing software engineering teams Proven stakeholder management skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with/support cross-functional team members, comfortably leading meetings and workshops Interest in commercial strategy, including delivering user and revenue growth, development of business investment cases, competitor analysis and market opportunity sizing A growth mindset – curious and keen to learn and develop new ideas, skills and knowledge Comfortable with the concepts of data models; exposure to data science is a plus, but not required Successful candidates will have experience in, or a desire to learn about, the HR Compliance and Reward industry. They will also have an ambition to excel in commercial as well as technical Product Management.
