Sr Product Manager: Driver App Foundations
> **About the Role** > > The Uber Driver App supports over 7 million earners globally. This foundational team is responsible for ensuring the app remains reliable, responsive, and context-aware across real-world conditions. You will define and own the core systems and frameworks that keep the app running smoothly across devices, vehicles, and environments, enabling drivers to earn without friction. > **What you’ll be responsible for:** - Define a clear vision for how the Uber Driver App should intelligently evolve to support diverse devices, environments, and usage contexts - Partner with engineering and data science to uncover and address key drivers of performance issues, including battery drain, device variability, and network instability - Collaborate with design to shape user experiences that reflect and reinforce these performance improvements across conditions - Design and run experiments to test core hypotheses and deliver quick, validated product wins - Develop a long-term strategy, grounded in experimentation and user insights, to scale adaptive systems and drive meaningful business impact > **Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or equivalent. - 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager - Strong product judgment, user empathy and design sensibility. - Proven success running user-facing experiments to validate hypotheses and drive product outcomes. - Technically fluent and comfortable working through architectural trade-offs with engineers - Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership who drives progress independently - Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making structured decisions, and aligning cross-functional partners > **Preferred Qualifications:** - Demonstrates systems thinking, with a track record of delivering scalable platform _s_ and consumer facing solutions developed in close partnership with design - Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, including translating technical concepts for executive and cross-functional audiences Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
