Kite is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Product Management to lead our country-level product marketing for cell therapies in South Korea. This pivotal role involves developing and executing brand strategies, fostering relationships with key opinion leaders, and implementing promotional communication strategies. The successful candidate will report to the Business Unit Director in Seoul, South Korea.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development and Execution:
Formulate and execute country-level brand strategies and action plans, aligning with global and regional strategy
Cultivate strong relationships with opinion leaders and key stakeholders to establish Gilead-Kite’s cell therapies in South Korea
Partner with Medical Affairs, Government, and Public Affairs to ensure cohesive strategy development and implementation
Monitor and track performance, initiating action plans as necessary
Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions
Collaborate with regional marketing teams to provide local market insights that influence global brand plans
Promotional Communication:
Develop and implement promotional communication strategies and tactics that align with the overall brand strategy
Work closely with Regional/Global marketing colleagues to create compliant promotional materials
Manage relationships with external agencies (advertising, public relations, medical education vendors) to produce promotional deliverables
Budget and Project Management:
Oversee the marketing budget (OPEX) and manage project timelines effectively
Drive excellence in commercial efforts, including business planning and forecasting
Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory and legal requirements
Basic Qualifications
In-depth understanding of the hematology/oncology clinical landscape and the cell therapy business
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams with exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and consensus among diverse groups
Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and business plans
Ability to leverage extensive product and therapeutic disease knowledge to advocate for the appropriate use of cell therapies to opinion leaders
Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong communication skills
Bachelor’s degree
Significant experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, with a solid grasp of marketing/sales strategies, tactics, and commercial policies within specialty care
Proven track record of successful product launches and sustained commercial growth
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other advanced degree in a related field
Recent experience in B cell malignancy/oncology, with an understanding of the associated funding and clinical challenges
