We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead new brand building product launches and continuous improvement of our existing products to drive brand owner growth on Amazon. The leader will define a long-term vision and a strategic path to achieving it, navigating through significant levels of ambiguity and driving execution. The position requires collaboration with various Amazon teams across countries, including product and tech partners, category teams, and Selling Partner Support. Additionally, the leader will use data and Seller feedback to measure the impact of the strategy and present findings to drive decisions at both ongoing and strategic levels.
Key job responsibilities
1. Creating strong business case and Influencing partner teams for new products/features launches for Sellers in Japan
2. Identifying potential problems in existing products/processes and setting clear action plans to improve them
3. Partner with key internal stakeholders (e.g. Operations, legal, marketing) to execute plan and deliver results.
4. Creating and leading mechanisms to understand business drivers, uncover areas of opportunity, and present business recommendations
5. Developing and growing strong collaborative relationships with the key stakeholders
6. Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management regarding progress and roadblocks.
A day in the life
Drive the strategy and execution of seller-facing products that accelerate marketplace growth. You'll gather seller requirements, analyze performance metrics, and translate insights into clear product specifications. Partner with engineering teams to build and launch new seller tools, while creating comprehensive testing plans to validate solutions. Own the product roadmap for your area, prioritize features based on business impact, and develop success metrics to track adoption. Continuously identify friction points in the seller experience and propose innovative solutions that scale across markets.
