We're looking for a passionate, strategic, and customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to lead the future of affiliate channel innovation at Target. You’ll define how affiliate marketing enhances the broader customer journey—and bring that vision to life. This role will report to the Director of Product – Integrated Commerce.
As the Sr. Product Manager Affiliates – Integrated Commerce, the following are your key responsibilities:
Product Strategy
Shape and drive the long-term product strategy for affiliate channels across all categories
Develop affiliate user personas to deeply understand distinct customer needs and use cases per channel
Validate new opportunities through qualitative research, competitive intelligence, and internal insights
Roadmap, Prioritization & ExecutionManage feature prioritization of backlog based on impact, effort, and alignment with strategic goals
Translate vision into detailed roadmaps, OKRs, PRDs, and 1-pagers that guide cross-functional execution
Collaborate closely with engineering and design to bring solutions to life
Lead UAT efforts in collaboration with QA to ensure excellence in every release
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Business, Engineering, Analytics to deliver a best-in-class affiliate solutions
Influence of strategic communication and training plans to facilitate the rollout of new tools, features, and processes, addressing potential challenges and fostering cross-functional alignment
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to anticipate resistance, provide support, and monitor adoption metrics, ensuring that all teams adapt effectively and maximize product impact
Lead specific vendor relationships related to affiliate technology
Insights & Analysis
Use data to inform decisions, establish KPIs, and evaluate success
Work with Analytics and Research to understand new customer and existing guest behaviors, pain points, and unmet needs
data to continuously refine and improve the product experience for affiliate partners
About you:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
6+ years of product management experience
Domain experience in Affiliates, AdTech, MarTech, E-commerce, or Social Commerce a plus
Interested in social experiences, and love exploring how people connect, share, and build community through digital products. You analyze every product you use, noticing friction, delight, and what could be better.
Proven track record of strategic partnership management skills, and a deep understanding of market trends in social commerce, affiliates, and creators
Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology team
Strong communication skills and proven ability to influence cross functional stakeholders and external partners
Strategic mindset and bias for action with strong ability for strategic planning, helping define OKRs and driving business outcomes
Energized by fast-paced environments, and bring clarity and structure even amidst ambiguity
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
