Your Role:

Meet material performance all categories, incl. P2P/NCP, Design Optimization, Inbound Logistics, Mtl. Utilization etc. forBOM creation and QUOTATION expertiseExecute SCM Product Development Process (PDP) program management to meet flawless launch objectives (Quality, Operating Income & Revenue)Support country business pursuits targets and make sure BOM is competitive at pursuit, PDP and mass production phases.Assure on-going operational excellence of purchased material within product line for the life of the program (quality, delivery).Support the country Growth Strategy and align with category/SQ&D on supplier development strategy.Ensure program profitability by supporting customer quoting process and acting as material champion in support of winning new business.Support Manufacturing footprint through Best Cost Country (BCC), In region-for-region and VOI etc.

Your Background

Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar qualification3 years of experience in Global Supply Management with internationally operating corporations, in electronics, category management or electrical components. Semiconductor components, preferred2 years of experience in a supervisor/management role.Ability to work in the U.S. without requirement for any type of visa sponsorship or transfer both now and at any time in the future.Local residents of metro Detroit preferredHolder of a valid U.S. Passport with ability to travel to MexicoAbility to manage supplier relationships with absolutes of ethics and integrity, and experience in working “up front” with suppliers to ensure superior material performanceProficiency in business finance to support business decisionsStrong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skillsAbility to cope with demanding environment and conflict resolutionStrong proficiency in EnglishExcellent computer skills with MS Office programsSpanish language skills are a plus
