As a Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate with teams to create innovative solutions, support new and existing features across multiple applications, and serve as a subject matter expert for Spectrum programs and systems.

Design UX and UI deliverables to support product requirementsBring proven knowledge of user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital applications from concept to launchDesign information architecture and wireframes that both meet business goals and ensure a positive user experienceBring proven knowledge of new design techniquesPartner with the wider design team to drive cross-platform consistencyModify, enhance, and implement design specifications and assets suitable for implementationOrganize files and follow all established design patterns when applicableResponsible for design and wireframe reviews and brainstorming sessions to help solve problemsWork within cross-functional team to understand expectations, priorities, and necessary deliverablesWork with design team leadership to contribute to and define application of design system for platform specific componentry and patterns

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Design/Art/HCI/Media/Related Field, or equivalent experience

Experience

5+ years of digital design experience2+ years of experience with basic prototyping and interface design tools (Figma, Adobe Suite, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin, Axure, etc.)Experience with project estimationExperience with planning and facilitating user research and usability tests

Skills

Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to demonstrate UI and UX design skills via portfolioIn-depth understanding of platform specific nomenclatureExperience with creating highly detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within consumer applicationsAbility to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX workDemonstrates effective time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed, ability to prioritize and organize effectively and deliver against several initiatives simultaneouslyDemonstrates effective client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)Demonstrates strong design thinking skills through creation of UX deliverables such as user flow diagrams and wireframes that solves the design problem by meeting both the business goals and ensures a positive customer experienceIn-depth understanding of UX best practicesAbility to fully engage and collaborate with team
