_Deliver business value through Right and Fast partnership This position is part of the Corporate Indirect Procurement Operating Supplies Category Strategy Team (CST). This is a key global procurement role responsible for key Repair & Maintenance Services category strategies, execution and results to optimize total cost of ownership across all Strategic Business Groups (SBG’s)._ **_KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:_** _§ Develop robust commodity strategies for the Operating Supplier Category Strategy Team_ _and with consideration to quality, cost, speed and service requirements, market conditions,_ _risks and exposures, competitive landscape, and projected changes over the strategic_ _planning horizon, global industry trends, suppliers’ capabilities, and overall supply chain_ _expertise_ _§ Partner with Buying Operations Team and SBG cross-functional stakeholders to ensure_ _alignment and support of category strategy creation and execution. Facilitate engagement_ _across all SBG’s to drive a singular approach to supplier management in assigned_ _commodity space._ _§ Consolidate fragmented global spend, reduce the use of non-strategic suppliers, and move_ _the procurement activities upstream in the lifecycle of a solution in order to bring greater_ _value to Honeywell._ _§ Execute the annual operating plan through year-over-year improvements in productivity,_ _working capital, quality, delivery and supply continuity._ _§ Negotiate and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers capable of providing_ _solutions that meet established business requirements and follow the global commodity_ _strategies while maximizing benefit to Honeywell._ _§ Build strong technical solutions including new technology, VA/VE, CE product and cost_ _improvements with supply base._ **_YOU MUST HAVE:_** _§ 4+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience, to include at minimum, 4 years in an_ _indirect procurement function at a multinational corporation with global contracts._ _§ In-depth experience in best-in-class procurement practices (category management,_ _benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.)._ _§ Bachelor's Degree in any discipline._ **_WE VALUE:_** _§ master’s degree (MBA/MS)_ _§ Strong negotiator with proven experience in setting negotiation strategies and_ _conducting negotiations_ _§ Extensive knowledge of the basic types of commercial agreement structures and the_ _function and purpose of key legal terms._ _§ Demonstrate actionable results by delivering against targets for financial performance_ _business impact_ _§ Strong experience assessing risk and concisely explaining complex issues to principal_ _business owners._ _§ Extremely customer-focused and takes the time to understand the needs of the business._ _§ Experience working in a large, global, highly matrixed organization._ _§ Strong analytical skills including the ability to quickly synthesize, distill and draw_ _conclusions on large amounts of disparate data._ _§ Strong leadership skills and ability to direct a cross-functional team_ _§ Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication,_ _organization, time management, and problem-solving skills._ _§ Excellent written and oral communication skills._ _§ Passionate self-starter with the highest integrity and ethics._ Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
