This role, based in Colorado Springs, CO, plays a crucial part in supporting the U.S. President, Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.

Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a key part of the Missile Defense System. It is an essential operational system that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively control designated networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission goals.
C2BMC offers a layered missile defense capability that provides an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to enhance overall performance. Additionally, C2BMC is a vital component of all ground and flight tests, which verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of the missile defense system.
Essential Functions:
Integrate JEMINI Lab test suites into our development labDevelop configurations to support testing and prototypes of developing systemsCreate and modify scripts to extract specific information from log filesPerform data analysis of input, internal, and output message dataTroubleshoot both test and prototype issuesDocument test results and prepare test status reportsAuthor spiral and build-level test plan documents and proceduresCreate Test Discrepancy Reports to document issuesAssist software development personnel with investigating and resolving issuesDevelop troubleshooting procedures and workaround documentsDevelop and execute detailed test plans and procedures to test C2BMC in an integrated environment or to evaluate specific capabilitiesPlan and lead C2BMC tests with external elements and sensorsReview and provide feedback on system specifications, development, testing, and network documents as necessaryAttend meetings with customers, etc., and represent the Integration teamResponsible for managing the configuration of a set of lab machines dedicated to specific development activitiesBasic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 6 years of related experience, or 4 years of experience with a PhD.; or 12 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeApplicants must possess a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearanceAbility and willingness to travel up to 10% to customer sites (e.g., EUCOM, CENTCOM) and contractor sites (e.g., Huntsville) to support business needs are requiredExperience with systems/security integration and system/software testing, including virtualized environmentsExperience in integrating system components in an integrated test environmentWorking knowledge of system design, security design, and overall integration into an operational environmentStrong skills in VMware, virtual servers, UNIX, including shell scriptingIn-depth understanding of Windows and Unix systemsWorking knowledge of preparing test plans and procedures, along with test executionHands-on experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated test toolsPrevious experience as a Software IntegratorAbility to read and troubleshoot application source codeAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changeKnowledge and expertise in the C2BMC concept of operations and user interfaceExperience in writing installation manualsMust be able to write clear, concise system installation and configuration instructionsStrong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with software developers, system administrators, and analysis and test engineersPreferred Qualifications:

Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
