Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is currently seeking a Senior Principal Proposal Analyst to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. The position will be based in our offices locally.
Position Summary:
- Develops, plans and schedules proposals.
- Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
- Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.
- Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts.
- Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings.
- Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
- Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team.
- Work in a team environment to develop proposals in response to customer requests
- Prepare Proposals in compliance with applicable government regulations and internal policies
- Present proposal recommendations to management
- Prepare certified cost and pricing data packages
- Support proposal audits and negotiations with customers
Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience - OR - a Master's degree with 6 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience
Experience in estimating, pricing, finance, contracts, business and/or business operations.
Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other U.S. Federal Government contracting regulations
Must have ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel skills is highly preferred.

Experience with ProPricer
Experience with Cost/Price Analysis

Presentation skills
Organizational/Time Management skills and ability to multitask

Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
