This role is ideal for a seasoned product leader with deep domain expertise in recruiting or HR technology, a proven ability to set product vision, and a strong track record of delivering innovative and transformative solutions at scale.
The ideal candidate will be a customer-obsessed, data-informed, and technically fluent leader who excels at connecting the dots between market needs, user behavior, and business goals. You’ll partner closely with design, engineering, AI/ML, and go-to-market teams to shape the future of our recruiting products.
If you’re passionate about shaping world-class solutions that help businesses attract, hire, and retain top talent—especially in a dynamic, fast-evolving domain—we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
• Define and drive the long-term product strategy, roadmap, and vision across one or more key areas within the Talent Acquisition suite.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, for high-impact features and platform capabilities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams—engineering, UX, AI/ML, data science, and marketing—to develop elegant, scalable, and technically sound solutions.
• Stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to ensure UKG’s products remain innovative and differentiated.
• Bring a strong product transformation mindset—identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems, adopt emerging technologies, and deliver step-function improvements in user experience and performance.
• Advocate for customer empathy and insight through user research, field engagement, and data-driven validation.
• Define and track key success metrics, using data to drive prioritization, iteration, and continuous improvement.
• Influence and align stakeholders at all levels through clear storytelling, vision communication, and executive-level presentations.
• Foster a strong product culture based on discovery, experimentation, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
• 15+ years of product management experience, with a strong background in enterprise SaaS or HR technology.
• Domain expertise in recruiting technology preferred (e.g., ATS, sourcing platforms, candidate engagement tools, AI-driven hiring solutions).
• Proven ability to drive strategic product direction and transformation, especially in complex or mature product environments.
• Experience developing AI/ML-enabled features and integrating with modern recruiting or HR platforms is a plus.
• Strong technical acumen—you don’t need to code, but you should be able to engage deeply with engineering teams and understand architectural trade-offs.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, from peers to executives.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills—comfortable working with data to de-risk decisions and validate hypotheses.
• Experience working in global, cross-functional product organizations.
Bonus Points For:
• Experience in high-volume or frontline hiring environments.
• Background in modernizing legacy recruiting systems.
• Familiarity with ethical, responsible AI in HR tech.
• Experience building platform capabilities or APIs for third-party integrations.
