A Day in the Life:

As a Sr. Platform Developer - COBOL you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying ServiceNow solutions. You will work with key stakeholders to understand requirements and develop elegant solutions. You must have a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and experience in web application development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX.

What You'll Do:

Lead in requirements gathering sessions. Lead in design reviews and SCRUM meetings. Perform platform upgrades, review skipped updates due to upgrade. Follow ITIL process to develop solutions. Scripting in various areas (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Access Control Lists, UI Policies, Portal Pages, UI Pages). Writing code using JavaScript, HTML, Angular, CSS, and AJAX. Lead in the development of integrations with 3rd party tools or ServiceNow to ServiceNow integrations with scripted and OOB REST API and SOAP Web Services. Support Go Live and hyper care phases Identify and implement opportunities to automate and enhance the end-user experience. Review Technical solutions prior to deployment. Perform technical assessments of new plugins and configurations.

What We're looking For:

7+ years of experience ServiceNow Platform. Troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills Expertise of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management, etc.) Good communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience with hands-on development, management, and deployment of solutions in ServiceNow. Demonstrated expertise with JavaScript, HTML, XML, and web services Rest API, SOAP. Demonstrated expertise of ServiceNow instance design and administration. ServiceNow – Certified System Admin preferred ServiceNow – Certified Application Developer preferred ServiceNow – Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM preferred ITIL Foundation, version 4 preferred
