Sr Operations Manager
**About the Role** We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead the strategic execution of Uber’s Mobility regulatory agenda in Mexico. This role is central to ensuring regulatory compliance, operational scalability, and innovation in how we support and engage our earner base in an evolving labor landscape. You will drive end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives—translating legal and policy requirements into operational processes at scale. You’ll also be responsible for identifying risk, building resilient systems, and driving continuous improvement across multiple regulatory workflows. **What You’ll Do** - Lead execution of high-priority initiatives related to labor compliance, social security, severance, earnings deductions, and worker classification - Own operational strategy and process design for critical workflows affecting thousands of earners, ensuring alignment with legal, policy, and business goals - Serve as the primary point of accountability for ongoing compliance processes and operational readiness tied to regulatory changes - Manage cross-functional project teams, including oversight of implementation timelines, budget impact, and stakeholder alignment - Drive operational excellence, ensuring SLAs are met across manual and automated processes (e.g., claims, registration, arrears) - Proactively surface risks and mitigation strategies, partnering with legal, finance, and product to ensure continuity and compliance - Mentor junior team members and help scale operational knowledge and best practices across the broader organization **What You’ll Need** - 8+ years of experience in operations or consulting - Proven success in leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects from planning through execution - Deep understanding of process optimization, compliance operations, and data-driven decision-making - Strong analytical skills anda proficiency in SQL is required - Fluency in Spanish and English - Strategic thinking with a bias for action and ownership We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build a future where everyone and everything can move independently.
