This location is part of our Prepared Foods Division.
Responsible for the issuing and receiving of all stock items and for incoming, outgoing shipments. Must be self-directed, very organized and a strong leader. Available to work varying schedules, including weekends, as necessary.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Issuing and receiving parts.Works with Buyers to maintain proper min / max inventory levels and monitors parts usage.Works with Maintenance staff to assist with any stock or non-stock parts.Performs cycle countsResponsible for vendor contact during emergencies.Must be able to read shop manuals and part specifications.Loads and unloads materials as required.Participate in department related activities including such activities as Safety, Huddle, HACCP, SQF and Root Cause Problem Solving as related to MRO.Responsible for understanding and complying with all appropriate company policies, procedures and work rules. Compares / Counts incoming deliveries against packing sheet to verify quantity and quality of materials.Other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.A demonstrated knowledge of a computerized inventory control system, SAP preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of PC based spreadsheets, word processors, and excel.Demonstrated ability to motivate and assist in training team members within a team-oriented environment.Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Forklift experience. Strong oral and written communication along with excellent follow-up and time management capabilities.Experience – 1 to 3 years working in a manufacturing environment preferred.Relocation Assistance Eligible:
