The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting network devices and technologies, including Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba NAC, and F5 load balancers. And he should knowledge in Infrastructure monitoring tools such as BMC TSIM, SolarWinds. The L2 Network Engineer will be responsible for ensuring network reliability, performance, and security across our organization’s IT landscape. Key Responsibilities: - Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls. - Administer and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, including policy creation, monitoring, and security rule implementation. - Support Aruba NAC solutions, including authentication, authorization, and endpoint compliance. - Configure and maintain F5 load balancers, ensuring efficient traffic distribution and high availability of services. - Monitor network performance, identify issues, and provide timely resolutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and network-related projects. - Maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, device configurations, and incident reports. - Participate in on-call rotation and provide L2 support for escalated network incidents. - Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices. - Perform day to day Administration task of tools. - Preform periodic version upgrade of tools. - Work with Security team to fix vulnerabilities identified in tools (monthly basis) - Facilitate investigation of complex technical issues. - Identify and escalate issues and work with vendors till issue closure, provide RCA. - Monitor instructions received or sent via internal monitoring system. - Perform health checks, system connectivity, consistency and data integrity. - Perform tools functionality post validation tasks after monthly server patching - Working with Server/Network/DB teams to on-board and configure devices in monitoring systems, APM and Patch management system. - Create Custom Reports and dashboards in monitoring tools based on requirement - Configure custom alerts and actions based on requirement - Perform monthly automated patching for customer environment. - Create custom reports in Log management System based on Security team’s requirements Required Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience in network engineering and support. - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco networking devices and technologies. - Proficiency in managing Palo Alto firewalls and security policies. - Experience with Aruba NAC implementation and support. - Familiarity with F5 load balancer configuration and troubleshooting. - Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching concepts. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Certifications: - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher. - Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) or higher. - Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP) or equivalent. - F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA) or higher. - Knowledge in SIEM/Log management tools such as RSA Netwitness - Knowledge in Patch management Tools such as BMC Bladelogic , WSUS. - Certifications in Solarwinds (NPM, NCM, SAM ) **Additional Locations** : * Singapore - Central Singapore - Singapore * Singapore - Central Singapore - SINGAPORE * Singapore * Singapore - Central Singapore * Singapore - Central Singapore - Singapore , * Singapore - Central Singapore - SINGAPORE
