The Middleware Engineer shall have at least 3 (three) years of experience with middleware technologies such as WebLogic 12c or later version, and minimally possess the following requirement:
(a) At least 3 years of experience with WebLogic 12c or later version; and
(b) Strong technical skills in middleware technologies, such as:
(i) Messaging systems (e.g., Apache Kafka); or
(ii) APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP); or
(iii) Integration platforms (e.g., Red Hat JBoss); or (iv) Containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes); or (v) Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). (c) DevOps Experience: Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
1. Install and configure Oracle WebLogic Server across environments.
2. Create and manage WebLogic domains, clusters, and managed servers.
3. Deploy Java EE applications using console, WLST, or automation tools.
4. Monitor and tune WebLogic performance and JVM parameters.
5. Troubleshoot server, application, and deployment-related issues.
6. Manage WebLogic security, SSL, and LDAP integrations.
7. Apply patches and perform WebLogic version upgrades.
8. Monitor logs and server health using monitoring tools.
9. Automate tasks using WLST and shell scripting.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and deployments
11. Install, configure, and manage Apache HTTP Server for hosting web applications.
12. Set up virtual hosts, proxy settings, and SSL certificates for secure access.
13. Monitor performance, tune configurations, and optimize request handling.
14. Troubleshoot errors, manage logs, and apply security patches and updates.
