We aim to enhance our engagement with customers, ecosystems, and partners, focusing on what truly matters to drive product leadership and profitable growth. We seek an exceptionally driven and analytical Senior Manager of Portfolio Solutions with a strong background in strategy and execution to propel our business forward. 

This role encompasses high-performing yet complex operations, managing over 10,000 SKUs, processing 300,000+ orders, and facilitating 10 million+ shipments annually through 10 distribution centers, while launching upwards of 50 new products each year. 

Role Statement 

The Senior Manager of Portfolio Solutions will work closely with customers, partners, cross-functional stakeholders, and executive leaders to develop and execute growth strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of target applications and ecosystems, as well as the ability to build and validate strategies that enable profitable growth. Extensive interaction with both external stakeholders (customers, partners) and internal teams (sales, product management, engineering, operations, finance) is essential to identify opportunities, develop value propositions, and promote products effectively to achieve revenue goals. 

This is a highly visible role that demands execution discipline, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. The Senior Manager will report directly to the Senior Director of Portfolio Solutions. 

Key Responsibilities

Unified Solutions (Cross-Product) Voice 

Orchestrate customer-centric, solution-based messaging by consolidating product portfolio insights in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Technical teams. 

Support the negotiation of strategic agreements that represent cross-portfolio interests, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. 

Strategic Customer Engagement 

Champion and lead the strategic focus on priority customers and markets, ensuring a portfolio-level approach that reflects proven experience in managing high-stakes customer relationships. 

Align internal teams with strategic customer needs, fostering accountability for deliverables across the organization. 

Roadmap Process and Reconciliation 

Anticipate future market directions by collaborating with System Architects, Business Development, and Commercial Teams on VoX (Voice of: Customers, Business, and Industry), as well as direct engagement with Tier-1 customers. 

Respond to evolving market demands by aligning product roadmaps with cross-portfolio Product Management teams to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions. 

Shape strategic direction through the selection and execution of Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives in partnership with the Advanced Solutions Team (AST) within Engineering. 

Market Sensing & Strategy Development 

Interact with customers and ecosystem partners to understand, influence, and shape TE Connectivity's response to market needs. 

Ensure alignment of future market outcomes with product and technology roadmaps, maintaining a strategy that provides optionality and evaluates outcomes through PoCs. 

Execution and Reporting 

Deliver cross-portfolio marketing collateral to support product launches and marketing initiatives. 

Update senior management and key stakeholders on progress and strategic initiatives, shaping their understanding and support. 

Contribute to risk identification and mitigation strategies related to evolving tariff and global trade compliance requirements. 

What your background should look like:

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. 

Experience: 

10+ years of broad experience in a combination of business and technical roles, including product management, engineering, and business development. 

Proven track record in managing complex product lifecycles and driving strategic initiatives in high-tech environments. 

Experience in licensing/business agreement is desired

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $161,500-201,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
