BJ’s Wholesale Club is looking for a highly motivated, analytical Sr. Membership Specialist to join the Member Acquisition team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about driving growth through digital marketing channels, including paid social, search, display, email and affiliate marketing. Membership Acquisition is the foundation of BJ’s Wholesale Club, where we aim to take care of families that depend on us.
This role will be an integral part of the Member Acquisition team, helping to plan, execute, and optimize performance marketing campaigns in collaboration with both internal teams and external media agencies. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and can confidently manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop, launch, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across paid social, search, display, and affiliate channels to acquire new BJ’s members.
Manage day-to-day campaign execution, including creative trafficking, and budget optimization.
Monitor and analyze performance data, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to improve cost-per-acquisition (CPA), membership signup volume, and post-acquisition engagement
Partner with Analytics and Finance to ensure that campaigns are on track to reach targets.
Identify and test new digital vendor partners, platforms, and tools to expand and diversify media mix for acquisition channels.
Support the development of offers, messaging, and creative strategies to drive stronger acquisition results.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Creative, Analytics, Digital Marketing, and Legal to ensure campaigns are on brand, compliant, and effective.
Support broader acquisition initiatives and special projects as needed including digital partnerships
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably) in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Preferred: 2+ years of relevant work experience in digital marketing with emphasis on performance marketing and growth marketing and hands-on exposure to paid social, search, display, or affiliate channels.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas and results clearly to a variety of audiences.
Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute beyond your immediate scope of responsibility.
Experience managing or tracking large marketing budgets.
Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills.
This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $76,000.00.
