JOB DUTIES:

Work safely and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures. Operate and maintain laboratory 3D printers, including consumable material management, maintaining print request queues, and assisting engineering with part layout. Perform various tasks in a laboratory or shop setting to assist new product development with testing, fixture development, and prototype fabrication. Participates in product development team meetings. Collaborates and supports engineering staff. Specifies, initiates, and coordinates acquisition of new product development materials and equipment as needed. May perform other duties as required.

YOU MUST HAVE

3+ years work experience in related field Ability to demonstrate basic knowledge of measuring/inspection instruments, fabrication methods, and mechanical/electrical principles, properties, and theories Experience utilizing CAD software, preferably CREO, to create and review 3D models and drawings Proven 3D printing experience, preferably with FDM and SLA printers Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) required

Ability to independently manage workloads from design engineers and comfortable in conflicting priorities Familiar working in laboratory and machine shop environments Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of complex variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to listen and speak effectively before groups of employees in the organization Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced team environment Familiarity conducting and running industry-standard electrical transient tests such as ESD, lightning, oscillatory and EMC Ability to work under minimal supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision making Ability to take direction and be a self-starter Good communication skills in English both written and verbally
