Sr Material Handler

Together, we develop solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, from protecting the environment to finding cures for cancer. **Job Responsibilities:** As a Material Handler, you will play a central role in ensuring the flawless flow of materials within our supply chain. Your responsibilities include: + Receiving and checking consignments received at our local warehouse and booking in SAP. + Storing materials in accordance with requirements, including operating the automated warehouse infrastructure (HBR). + Provisioning production replenishment according to orders to support the constant production process. + Packing both domestic and export shipments of samples and products to our customers and external partners. + Handling of shipments to external forwarders and follow up on their progress. + Supporting inventory work, cleaning, and other warehouse tasks to keep our stocks at the rigth level. + Crafting and collecting GxP documents for the warehouse and logistics area. + Assisting in the implementation of new or optimized processes in logistics to find a better way every day. **Education** + A completed Logistics apprenticeship or similar education. **Experience** + Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse, or supply chain, preferably in a GMP environment. + Experience with handling hazardous goods/chemicals, refrigerated, and frozen goods (down to -150°C) preferred. + Experience with order pickers/fork lift (certificate) to handle the material movements is an advantage. **Skills** + Proficient in German, with good knowledge of English. + Detailed, clean, and precise way of working. + Independent, self-reliant, and well-organized. + Be a collaborative, flexible and solution oriented colleague **Physical Requirements / Work Environment** + On-call duties is expected to support our manufacturing activities with materials in case required urgently. + Physical resilience as lifting of items might be required. **What We Offer** We provide excellent benefits, including a pension plan, employee referral bonus, and career advanceWe provide excellent benefits, including a pension plan, employee referral bonus, and career advancement opportunities.
