Sr Marketing Specialist
Our Sr. Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of the supplier contract lifecycle and providing support to the Category Strategists and General Counsel in the contract review and negotiation process. In this role, you will review and summarize key contractual terms requiring business or legal approval and provide guidance based on business objectives. You will also support our M&A efforts by conducting, reviewing and organizing common supplier contract reviews during due diligence and entity management and consolidation, post-acquisition. This role will collaborate closely with cross functional teams such as Legal, M&A, and Category Strategy teams to optimize efficiency and synergy with acquired companies, while aligning to our distribution strategy and business model. **JOB DUTIES:** + Support the category strategy team by managing the entire contract lifecycle process from draft to execution for new agreements, amendments, assignments, and rebate agreements. + Understand optimal business terms for negotiation purposes and review supplier contracts and clauses against standards. + Provide summaries of business and legal terms in agreements as needed and work with General Counsel to obtain legal approval/feedback. + Interact with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the execution of the agreements and file executed documents in appropriate repository. + Conduct due diligence for M&A transactions and prepare summaries as needed. + Work with the General Counsel to draft corporate resolutions and annual compliance documents. + Manage and coordinate entity consolidation projects with cross-functional teams and maintain updates in entity management software. + Provide support to NAMs and draft customer rebate letters as requested. + Complete credit applications and supplier documentation as requested. + Perform legal research and dispute resolution support as needed. **YOU MUST HAVE:** + Minimum 3 years of experience as a Paralegal/Admin Legal in a corporate environment. + Ability to read and understand contract languages and terms. + Highly organized, detail-oriented and the ability to multi-task and prioritize. + Experience utilizing Microsoft tools, such as Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat. iCertis knowledge a plus. + Excellent interpersonal skills, time management skills, and organization skills. + Highly effective written and verbal communication skills. **WE VALUE:** + Excellent business acumen + Able to keep confidentiality on numerous initiatives + Positive “can-do” attitude + Resourceful and creative in your approach to problem solving + Ability to cope with competing priorities **WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:** + Enjoy work-life balance with unlimited vacation + Immediate eligibility for 401K + Growing company with great opportunity for career growth LI-FH1 #Hybrid Resideo is a $6.76 billion global manufacturer, developer, and distributor of technology-driven sensing and control solutions that help homeowners and businesses stay connected and in control of their comfort, security, energy use, and smart living.
