Amazon Devices — the team behind the best-selling Amazon Echo, Kindle E-Reader, Fire tablet, Fire TV, and home security product lines — is seeking a Sr. Marketing Operations Manager to lead process improvement and resource planning initiatives to help achieve Devices' ambitious sales goals and enable some of the most anticipated product launches in the tech industry.

Key job responsibilities
The Sr. PM will do the following:
* Own the operational improvements roadmap for the XDM team to ensure completion of the team’s VP-level OpEx and operational improvement annual goals. This includes identifying pain points across our existing workstreams both individually and in partnership with workstream owners, ideating new tool and process improvement solutions, define the annual improvement targets, manage the delivery of all product launches and process updates, and report out to leadership about progress and blockers.
* Lead operational demand and capacity planning for a team of 15+ people, including creating and/or maintaining tools to support resource planning, cycle time measurement, capacity review mechanisms, modeling potential capacity scenarios, and providing resource planning recommendations to leadership.
* Serve as Product owner and strategic lead for XDM’s central project intake and management tool (receive 4k requests from partners annually), including identifying and implementing improvements, leading communications with stakeholders about quarterly and annual planning cycles, supporting the team with troubleshooting, and leading user trainings.
* Serve as the content and technical lead for XDM’s internal website for 250+ stakeholders, including measuring user satisfaction, monitoring CX and traffic trends, ensuring content owners regularly audit and maintain their sections, and being the subject matter expert for the backend site design.
* Be the primary business partner for tech and business intelligence teams that design tools and dashboards to support operational efficiency, including proposing new ideas during annual planning, contributing to requirements, and leading ongoing user feedback.
About the team
The Devices Marketing Builders and Automation team (MBA) is the marketing operations Center of Excellence for the Cross-Devices Marketing (XDM) org. We are the builders of the online customer-facing content for our 20 product lines and the first line of defense against defects and errors across our product detail pages in the US, Mexico, and Canada. We strive to deliver a high CX by executing perfectly, while creating ongoing scale for Devices through continuous process improvement and automation.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience driving cross-functional projects and change management.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Project management or operations certifications like Six Sigma

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
