Job Description:

The Senior Manager Revenue Management (Sr Mgr Rev Mgmt) manages the performance and work initiatives of Revenue Management Leaders and Employees and drives continuous improvement and Company strategy throughout the department and the Commercial organization through analysis, communication, alignment, and execution. This role Leads performance conversations and business management meetings and works closely with Financial Planning and Analysis and Customer Performance Analytics to derive insights into performance drivers and influence decisions on course of action. The Sr Mgr Rev Mgmt is analytical and a strong communicator ready to drive the future of Southwest Airlines.

ResponsibilitiesAct as a thought leader and serve as a trusted advisor to Commercial ExecutivesAdvise and guide revenue, variance, and trending analysis for key performance drivers and metricsAdvise and guide the development of new forecasting models and improve accuracy and insights of current modelsEstablish deliverable timelines ensuring plans, analysis, projects, and/or presentations are delivered on timeOversee and contribute to comprehensive revenue, analytical, and decision support at the Team, Department, and/or Executive level as well as leads companywide system Revenue Management strategyProvides thorough root cause analysis for RM and Commercial Leadership and translates broad direction into specific actionsSupports cross departmental objectives by collaborating with Yield Leadership colleagues to develop and implement strategic initiativesBuild strong working relationship with Southwest Airlines internal partners with the goal of maximizing revenue through all leversGenerates new ideas to improve revenue or enhance existing revenue streamsProvides Legendary Southwest Airlines internal customer serviceMay perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders

Experience

Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $155,900.00 per year to $173,200 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
