How will you make an impact?

As a Senior Manager in R&D, you will be instrumental in guiding NPI portfolio success, focusing on downstream purification in our BioProduction division. Your responsibilities include leading project management and encouraging a culture of collaborative innovation to support product leadership.

What will you do?

Manage Single Use Division’s R&D Innovation Forum, bringing together R&D and BU leadership specifically in downstream purification product portfolio.Provide overarching management of the R&D portfolio across the division.Coordinate and collaborate with business R&D project managers to manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of R&D project plans.Identify project risks, understand their impact, and implement mitigation strategies.Facilitate effective decision-making by coordinating project team meetings and prioritization efforts.Give timely, accurate, and comprehensive project updates to team members and management.Coordinate the coordination of R&D information for reviews at the BioProduction Group (BPG) level.

How will you get here?

Minimum of B.S. in Science or Engineering related fields; advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience.8 years of related industry experience managing R&D projects in life sciences or engineering, with certification being a plus.Life sciences, pharma, or biotech background, specifically in downstream purification unit operation (skid, single use consumables, automation) development strongly preferred.People management experience of 2+ years preferred.Strong track record of meeting objectives with urgency and working within a matrix environment.

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating the capacity to work collaboratively within a complex organizational structure.Proficient written communication abilities, capable of summarizing analysis findings in a clear and concise manner.Highly organized, with analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.Comfortable working in ambiguity with attention to detail.Executive presence; strong presentation and communication skills.Travel: 25-50% (primarily domestic/US travel).
