YOUR DAY TO DAY
Support digital strategy approach and definition while leading implementation for next generation experiences thru connected consumer devices and accessories across PMI Categories, supporting the realization of PMI ambitions to become a smokefree company asapProvide technological mastery/guidance in the area of IOT & Cloud connectivity to senior stakeholders (Director+) from the R&D, SFP and IT functionsRepresent IT in R&D innovations forums Lead the definition and the implementation plans of IT digital efforts, in the context of Digital Innovations, for next generations devices & services together with R&D leadership Drive IT efforts and contributions into CCI (Consumer Centric Innovations) Programs, ensuring alignment of immediate efforts towards strategic R&D north star on a ultra personalized consumer experience. Provide leadership guidance, expertise & support to other IT groups being involvedLead a team of technology experts located across multiple continents, managing prototyping, testing and derisking of digital technologies in alignment with the Future Pipelines & Innovation roadmaps, to ensure the right technical choices are madeManage IT budgets while working with other IT functions to transition from prototyping to full scale implementation (directly managing or influencing a 4mio+ budget per year) ensuring projects are delivered on time, on quality and on target costsCoordinate efforts, in the frame of driving next generations connected experiences, from the different IT teams together with IT R&D Connected Product Engineering, IT R&D Quality as well a IT SFP Consumers Apps teams & D&A Work closely within the Digital Product Innovation team and with PMI IP team, protecting innovative ideas thru patents

Digital vision and strategy: Conceptualize elements of digital strategy/digital-enabled business changes projects. Develop approaches to programmatically deliver successful digital innovation engagementsLeadership and direction: Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision and values; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goalsStakeholder management: Coordinate efforts in a highly matricial and complex environment, involving multiple global functions, while providing technological guidance to senior stakeholders (at Director+ level)IoT and connectivity: Research, develop, test and leverage new connectivity and edge technologies across the connected device portfolio to drive innovation and improve time to market Application software development: Expert in application software development with the ability to lead product engineering teams to develop innovative software solutions driving positive consumer experience improvements.Relationship Management: Cultivates a broad network of relationships, at all levels, throughout the organization, with affiliates and alliance partners with the ability to mobilize the organization and its resources (people, financial, and material) to execute the corporate strategyCollaboration: Is more committed to the team and collective success than to their individual comfort. Establishes an environment that values and respects different perspectives to achieve global business objectives Strategic thinking: Anticipates possible adverse and positive outcomes. Is able to prioritize opportunities and capitalize on them while ensuring that decisions consistently uphold the company’s reputationAgile ways of working: Manage and deliver end-to-end digital programs and initiatives, leveraging agile ways of working to quickly adapt and organize around shifting priorities. Ability to use agile and design thinking tools to create rapid prototyping and pilots to assess potentials
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Master Degree in Computer Science and/or Electronics engineering 12+ years of experience in IT with large exposure on Consumer Electronics 7+ years in leading positions with relevant experience in deploying large scale IT Programs, managing large teams of employees and contractorsRelevant experience in developing IT strategies, with a demonstrated experience on IOTGood understanding of connectivity and related challenges for mobile consumer goodsRelevant knowledge around consumer data protection regulations (GDPR and alike)Demonstrated experience in fast prototyping, including IP protection thru patentsAbility to work in a matrix, cross functional environment with VP+ stakeholders
