**POSITION SUMMARY:**
The Senior Manager is responsible for executing and refining national and regional distributor strategies within the Long Term Care (LTC) and Developmental Center (DC) channels. Under the strategic guidance of corporate OG and COP1 initiatives, this role leads a team of two Associate Strategic Specialty Executives (ASSEs) and two Managers of National Account Sales-Distribution to drive growth, retention, and operational excellence in distributor partnerships.
Collaborating with National Account Senior Managers and the Director of the Distributor Channel, the Senior Manager develops and implements channel-specific strategies that respond to evolving healthcare market dynamics, including reimbursement models and payer landscapes (Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance). By negotiating and executing distributor programs, this role enhances product access, improves patient outcomes, and supports overall profitability, significantly impacting the organization’s success in the healthcare market.
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.
**RESPONSIBILITIES** :
**Strategic Account Leadership:**
+ Build and strengthen relationships with distributor partners and key decision-makers (D- and C-suite) to identify growth opportunities and align with national objectives
+ Mentor and train Inside Sales and Customer Support Representatives in the LTC and DC channels
**Channel Strategy and Execution:**
+ Develop and implement strategic vision for LTC and DC channel initiatives, coordinating resources across marketing, market access, business operations, and sales training
+ Lead the LTC/DC channel strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial development and cross-functional teams for effective resource deployment and market penetration
**Performance Management:**
+ Conduct quarterly/semi-annual business reviews to assess sales performance, align on goals, address concerns, and ensure compliance with NHSc Distributor Agreements
+ Monitor adherence to contract compliance and manage issues proactively
+ Drive compliance with negotiated agreements, monitor purchase trends, and implement corrective actions to maintain profitability and service levels
**Field Enablement and Support:**
+ Serve as the primary advocate for field teams, ensuring timely communication, training, and support for LTC/DC initiatives
+ Support National Account wins and facilitate smooth product flow to meet end-user needs
+ Record sales activities consistently in CRM to track performance and market intelligence
**Growth and Development:**
+ Actively seek profitable business growth opportunities, leveraging distributor relationships to maintain a robust pipeline
+ Develop strategic pricing proposals and negotiate independently for assigned accounts
+ Create and execute short- and long-range account plans using KAM models and strategic planning tools, consistent with the Annual Playbook
**Market Insights and Communication:**
+ Stay informed on industry trends, healthcare reform, and payer sources to update account plans accordingly
+ Communicate system changes, product rebranding, and new product launches to stakeholders
+ Report insights from distributor sales meetings and conventions to inform strategic action plans
**Project Leadership:**
+ Lead large national distributor initiatives specific to the LTC and DC channels, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 5–8 years of healthcare industry sales experience, with a focus on medical, clinic, and/or distribution selling
+ 3–5 years of leadership experience with a proven track record of success
+ Deep understanding of healthcare trends, Healthcare Reform, Reimbursement, and Payer Sources (Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance)
+ Experience with Med B Billing in community settings and LTC chain conversions via distribution channels
+ Demonstrated success in Key Account Management, including development and execution of account-specific sales strategies and marketing programs
+ Proven ability to cultivate relationships at the “D- & C-Suite” and Senior VP levels
+ Strong business acumen for strategic planning and achieving sales results
+ Skilled in evaluating market trends and leveraging data to build effective sales strategies
+ Expertise in identifying targets, qualifying opportunities, negotiating complex contracts, and delivering impactful business review
+ Advanced skills in Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
+ Proficient in AI/gen-AI technologies and personal productivty tools like Copilot
+ Demonstrated ability to use digital tools to enhance work outcomes, with a solid grasp of emerging digital trends
**SKILLS:**
+ Strong organizational and time management skills; results-oriented
+ Flexible and adept at working cross-functionally in multidisciplinary teams
+ Skilled in identifying and synthesizing insights to develop strategic action plans
+ Proficient in persuasion and influencing to ensure contract compliance
The approximate pay range for this position is $180,000- $195,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
