The role We are thrilled to announce an opportunity to join our team as: Manager Field Marketing Colombia (Individual Contributor) 📍 Full Time | Bogotá Role Overview: The Marketing Lead will be responsible for the marketing strategy in Colombia for SoftwareOne, focusing on developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive business growth in the country. While initially not having direct reports, the role will work closely with local and regional marketing teams, as well as sales, services, and alliance areas. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a strong results-oriented mindset and knowledge of the technology market. The candidate should have solid experience in digital marketing, demand generation, and strategic alliances, with a focus on both B2B and B2C clients. Responsibilities: Serve as the liaison between the business in Colombia and the Global Marketing team, ensuring strategy alignment and knowledge transfer. Develop and implement marketing strategies in collaboration with sales and service leaders to drive growth and demand generation. Adapt and execute global marketing campaigns based on the needs of the Colombian market, including brand initiatives, customer acquisition, and retention. Build and strengthen SoftwareOne’s presence in Colombia through digital channels, social media, events, and traditional media. Manage and optimize collaboration with strategic partners such as Microsoft and AWS, maximizing marketing funds and generating new business opportunities. Coordinate and execute marketing events and presence in commercial initiatives in key cities such as Bogotá, MedellĂn, and Cali. Support the development of local content, case studies, and communication materials to strengthen SoftwareOne’s market proposition. Ensure the measurement of marketing initiatives' impact through data analysis and performance reports. Work with the global and regional marketing teams to define best practices and improve initiative efficiency. What we need to see from you Mandatory: 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing within technology companies, ideally multinational corporations. Experience in demand generation strategies, digital marketing, ABM, and alliance marketing. Knowledge of the technology ecosystem, including cloud solutions, software, and digital transformation. Experience collaborating with sales and marketing teams in multinational and multicultural environments. Proficiency in digital marketing and automation tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Demandbase, among others. English level B2 (oral and written). Desirable: Experience working with strategic partners such as Microsoft and AWS. Background in both B2B and B2C marketing. MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or related fields. Experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing marketing spend. Soft Skills: Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt to flexible schedules as required by the role. Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously with a results-driven approach. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
