Philip Morris International (PMI) is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Senior Manager Brand Integrity for Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Islands.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, the successful candidate will join Philip Morris Limited and play a crucial role in defending PMI’s business against illicit trade, protecting the value of PMI brands against counterfeiting, safeguarding the businesses of legitimate trade partners, and positioning PMI as a credible partner for law enforcement and relevant government authorities.

Key Accountabilities:

Execute strategies to address key illicit trade issues in Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands, aligning with local management business priorities and global and regional objectives with a focus on defending PMI’s business and protecting the integrity of each product category.Design and implement anti-illicit  trade strategies and action plans in full compliance with laws, PMI policies and standards.Coordinate all illicit trade prevention related activities in collaboration with PMI’s Centers of Expertise to ensure timely and appropriate response to issues and optimal support to the local business units and authorities.Engage with national and international law enforcement organizations, NGOs, and IGOs, creating awareness and training, positioning PMI as a credible partner in the fight against illicit trade.

Promote regulatory frameworks that enhance enforcement and deterrence against illicit trade, supporting PMI Corporate Affairs’ regulatory objectives with illicit trade prevention policy positions and data-substantiated narratives.

Experience and Skills:

At least 8-10 years in brand protection, investigations, and/or law enforcement.Knowledge of tobacco products and the tobacco and nicotine industry, operations, and logistics is preferred.Ability to strategize, develop and execute effective anti-illicit trade programs.Good communication and interpersonal skills to forge and maintain relations of trust with stakeholders, partners, and government authorities.
