**Summary**
Acts as a business partner to the company’s US-based corporate, US-based business unit and branch management to ensure the effective deployment of company policies, processes, systems and metrics that contribute to the overall success of the business. Works to proactively recognize issues and develop appropriate measures and tools to enhance the company’s financial and operational performance. Responsible for maximization of cash flow, minimizing losses and revenue enhancing accounts receivable practices.
This position will support our Finance team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office location in Dallas, TX.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Oversee and manage the billing team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of billing operations
+ Mentor, train, and develop team members to enhance skills and productivity
+ Allocate resources and assign tasks based on workload and priorities
+ Ensure all customer invoices are generated correctly and delivered on schedule
+ Monitor billing cycles and resolve discrepancies or errors promptly
+ Implement and maintain efficient billing processes and systems
+ Ensure billing practices comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
+ Conduct regular audits and reviews of billing records to identify and rectify inconsistencies
+ Prepare and present detailed billing reports for senior management and other departments
+ Analyze billing trends and metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements and revenue optimization
+ Work closely with sales, finance, customer service, and IT teams to resolve billing issues and improve workflows
+ Support the finance department with month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing
+ Address escalated billing inquiries and disputes from key clients
+ Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction with billing services
+ Lead initiatives to upgrade or implement billing software and automation tools
+ Liaise with IT for troubleshooting and system enhancements related to billing functions
+ Contribute to departmental and organizational strategic goals related to revenue management and billing efficiency
+ Forecast billing workload and resource needs
+ Supports senior leadership on projects and ad hoc requests
**Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution required; emphasis in accounting / finance preferred
+ Minimum seven (7) years related experience in accounting, preferably in accounts receivable and revenue recognition
+ Minimum three (3) years previous supervisory experience
+ Experience with Accounts Receivable, Billing and/or Collections preferred
+ Experience with project/process implementation preferred
