Your New Role **:** We are seeking a hands-on, forward-thinking **Senior Manager** to lead a team of developers, architects, and technical specialists focused on delivering scalable, modern enterprise applications. This Mexico City–based role plays a key part in driving system modernization, complex integrations, and platform architecture across the enterprise. They will be guiding technical strategy, improving delivery outcomes, and mentoring engineers. This role requires a combination of architectural vision, operational rigor, and a passion for innovation through modern technologies such as AI, cloud, and automation. **Key Responsibilities** **Delivery & Operational Leadership** + Architect and oversee the design, development, integration, and performance of enterprise applications and platforms. + Lead solution design and delivery efforts in collaboration with product owners, project managers, and business analysts. + Oversee technical decision-making related to systems integration, data architecture, custom development, and security. + Own end-to-end execution of build and enhancement cycles, including backlog grooming, code reviews, and delivery planning. + Define and maintain architecture standards, development best practices, and documentation protocols. + Evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and design patterns in collaboration with technical leadership. + Partner with infrastructure, data, and InfoSec teams to ensure platform scalability, performance, and compliance. + Serve as an escalation point for complex technical or delivery issues and proactively resolve blockers. + Lead efforts to modernize legacy systems, identifying technical debt and developing phased remediation plans aligned with broader enterprise architecture goals + Collaborate with cybersecurity, risk, and compliance teams to ensure systems meet enterprise controls, audit requirements, and evolving regulatory standards. + Drive performance monitoring and root cause analysis efforts for application-related incidents, ensuring resilience and continuous improvement. + Continuously stay abreast of emerging technology trends — including AI, automation, and low-code tools — and infuse the team with actionable insights to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality. **Team & Talent Development** + Stay abreast of technological innovations and infu + Manage and grow a team of software developers, architects, and technical specialists. + Foster a culture of engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous learning – especially in modern technology concepts + Set clear goals and expectations, provide regular coaching and feedback, and guide team members through career growth. + Conduct performance reviews, support promotions and recognition efforts, and take corrective actions when necessary. + Coordinate resource planning and ensure appropriate workload distribution across team members. + Promote inclusive, transparent communication and alignment across distributed team members and time zones. + Establish onboarding frameworks and technical knowledge-sharing practices to accelerate ramp-up and cross-training across roles. + Champion inclusive engineering practices that promote psychological safety, peer mentorship, and diverse perspectives in solution design. **Qualifications & Expertise** **Required:** + 8 + years of experience in enterprise software development, including at least 2–3 years in a formal people leadership role. + Deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, systems design, and software engineering practices. + Hands-on expertise in application frameworks, APIs, data platforms, and integration patterns (.NET, C#, SQL, REST, etc.). + Proven ability to lead technical strategy, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver scalable solutions. + Experience with development lifecycle tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD). + Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Familiarity with basic to intermediate AI concepts (e.g., machine learning workflows, generative AI APIs, language models) and their potential application within enterprise platforms. **Preferred:** + Experience working across global engineering teams. + Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). + Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related technical field. + Demonstrated experience identifying opportunities to streamline or modernize systems using AI or related technologies — and successfully navigating enterprise governance or risk reviews during implementation **How We Get Things Done…** This last bit is probably the most important!
