**Job Responsibilities:** Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting of technology for Advisor Service Technology applications. Provide technical leadership for team members, including coaching and mentoring of more junior technical resources. Support applications and systems in a production environment and troubleshoot complex systems. Review requirements and translate them into a documented technical design. Work with an Agile team to deliver solutions. Interact with individuals from across Schwab in different supporting organizations and business groups. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.
**What you have**
**Job Requirements:** Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and 72 months of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 72 months of experience in each of the following skills: Software Development using C#, .NET or Java; Build REST services for high volume transactions in highly available environments; Build web applications using JavaScript frameworks including Angular, React, and Vue; Cloud frameworks and design patterns including Micro-services, Micro-UI, 12-factor design, and OOD; Devs Ops, CI/CD, Test Automation, and Test Driven Development; Cloud-ready applications including AWS, Azure, GCP, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry; SQL or NoSQL solutions including SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or Hadoop; Splunk and App Dynamics; Authorization frameworks including OAuth 2, SAML and JWT; Providing technical expertise as a team lead; and Support all phases of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile, TDD/BDD methodology.
We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
