Job Responsibilities: Lead design and implementation of new stories and bug fixes. Drive client-centricity for software products, reducing time to market & increasing efficiency. Maintain all aspects of the overall software development lifecycle and ensure the on-time, quality delivery of software product releases. Work closely with architects and business partners to define Agile stories for new capabilities. Perform thorough design reviews and code reviews. Provide technical direction and support to the rest of the team. Conduct hands-on coding, unit testing and production issue solving. Engage in software product roadmap discussions and long-term planning for your team. Develop tools and practices that will increase the efficiency of your team. Mentor junior staff in the team and help them reach their career goals. Partner with fellow developers, QA, product owners, technical leads and architects as needed. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.
What you haveJob Requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 96 months of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation. Requires 96 months of experience involving the following: Developing and implementing applications in web-enabled applications in Distributed Monolithic and Cloud Based Micro-services; Front End Technologies/Concepts: ASP.NET, Angular or AngularJS, JSON/XML, Sync/ASync services; Back End Technologies/Concepts: .NET, .NET core, C# and RESTful API design, Micro-Services and Event-drive driven architecture and frameworks; Database Technologies/Concepts: Relational (SQL/Oracle) and object-relational database; Implementing the pub sub event driven architecture design pattern using RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar; Continuous integration and continuous deployment to automate the CI&CD pipelines using GIT, bitbucket, Jenkins ,Bamboo, and GitHub Technologies; and Unit testing principles and implementations, API test automation techniques, and automated deployment pipeline tools.
We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
