Job Summary:

Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) are the lifeblood of society, representing ~50% of global GDP, they are a critical part of PayPal’s business. The PayPal SMB team sets the global commercial priorities for how we help SMBs to sell more effectively using PayPal’s platform, by helping define differentiated value propositions and effective sales, servicing and marketing strategies, and unlocking new growth opportunities via partnerships and new product development.

This role will be managing HV SMB team as well as managed the Inside Sales outbound team. The HV SMB team will be responsible for growing and protecting our most important SMB customers across Japan. They are help merchants solve frictional events and drive cross selling / upselling of PayPal products. As a HV SMB & Inside Sales outbound leader you will be required to recruit, coach, maintain a high-performance sales force for Japan.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead complex projects and initiatives that drive process improvements and business growth.Resolve complex problems by applying deep functional expertise and innovative solutions.Determine methods and procedures for new or special assignments within the sales function.Collaborate with global teams to implement best practices and drive consistency.Analyze business trends to inform strategic decisions and optimize sales processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

This person will have a good understanding of the SMB landscape in Japan. Candidate will be managing both Inside Sales organization and the SMB account managers. They will have to work effectively with cross-functional teams to support SMB segment growth objectives and provide world class support to our most valuable SMB customers. We are seeking an experienced Sales Leader to lead both the Japan Inside Sales team and the SMB account managers. You will be required to lead recruit, coach and motivate both SMB team. You will work with various key stakeholders to develop Sales Strategy to drive the Japan Insides Sales revenue and also to focus on retention for top tier of the SMB portfolio.

You will have in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. You are a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales executive to create and maintain a high-performance sales force.

This will be a target driven role and it comes with remuneration package that includes base and lucrative commission plan.

Managed the selling process of full suite of PayPal products and exceed revenue goals based on rolled up of sales executive targetDeveloped innovative approaches to capture whitespace in the SMB segmentContinuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is usingeffective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.Work with internal stakeholder to review and enhance existing sales process to help sales representatives shorten the sales cycle.Utilizes analytics tools and works to provide detailed analyses of sales performance for the purpose of formulating sales strategy that identify the successes, weaknesses, and opportunities to sales management.Working with internal stakeholders to create and execute a strategic sales plan sales strategy that identify high value prospects within Small Middle Business segmentUnderstand the payment competitive landscape in Brazil to build a strong pipeline and lead generation.Builds strong relationships with the external partners and consumers and interacts with them to promote the PayPal brand and play an active role in the Payment industry for possible partnership collaboration.
