Job Summary

Checkers and Rally’s is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to drive innovation and excellence in our restaurant technology ecosystem. With 8+ years of expertise in software QA, systems integration, service management, and menu strategy, the Senior Manager of Restaurant Technology will lead cross-functional teams in developing, enhancing, and maintaining core systems such as POS, KDS, and online ordering. A strong foundation in digital menu management and understanding of drive-thru restaurant operations with voice-enabled AI are key to ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational agility.

 

This role is based in our Restaurant Support Center (RSC), in Tampa, FL and has a hybrid schedule: In-office 3 days/week, Tues-Thur.

 

Key Responsibilities

Lead high-performing teams managing POS, KDS, and online ordering systemsOversee digital menu accuracy and delivery across multiple platformsDrive platform rollouts, upgrades, DR planning, and seamless systems integrationGuide end-to-end SDLC validation and testing for enterprise-level softwareChampion process improvements, compliance reviews, and UAT successAct as escalation lead, collaborating across operations and developmentDevelop team growth through coaching, collaboration, and KPI-driven success

 

Preferred Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of ISTQB Foundation principles and ITIL-aligned practicesProven experience in cross-platform menu management and systems integrationFamiliarity with drive-thru technology ecosystems and voice AI ordering solutionsSkilled in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or WaterfallTechnical fluency in systems such as Azure, SQL, and Office 365Strong interpersonal communication and cross-functional leadership skillsPrior experience in CDR, FCR or QSR environments highly preferred
