**Work Schedule** Standard (Mon-Fri) **Environmental Conditions** Office **Job Description** Join us at Thermo Fisher Scientific to contribute globally, empowering customers and advancing science. **Location/Division Specific Information** Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Transplant Diagnostics Division develops and commercializes several lines of In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) histocompatibility (HLA) tests and services. **Discover Impactful Work** Seeking a motivated leader for Sr. Manager, Product Management, Molecular Diagnostics, leading all aspects of our Molecular Product Portfolio. Responsible for product management, lifecycle, expansion, talent development, and product quality. **What will you do?** + Strategic Leadership: Take ownership of the P&L for the product portfolio, ensuring the successful execution of critical initiatives dedicated to driving profitability. This involves optimizing product mix, spearheading cost-reduction projects, and enabling high-margin innovative R&D projects + Coordinate the entire product lifecycle, from conception to discontinuation. This involves leading the product roadmap and ensuring that it aligns with business goals and market needs. + Team Development: Act as a leader to the product management team, focusing on talent development, mentorship, and strategic guidance. + Regular Reporting: Offer consistent monthly updates to both the business unit and divisional leadership, outlining progress in relation to annual operating plan objectives and critical initiatives. + Innovative Leadership: Demonstrating a global perspective, showcasing outstanding leadership qualities, and taking on challenges through a combination of problem-solving abilities, critical thinking and high emotional intelligence. + Performance Metrics: Contribution will be assessed based on metrics such as revenue, bookings, customer-allegiance score (CAS), product vitality, and overall profitability. + Market Development: Collaborate closely with the global market development, downstream marketing, and regional marketing teams to orchestrate campaigns that amplify product awareness and stimulate demand. **Keys to Success** **Education** + Bachelor’s degree required preferably in molecular diagnostics, life sciences, or other healthcare field. Graduate level degree in life sciences or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is strongly preferred. **Experience** + Requires 5+ years in healthcare or life sciences with expertise in product management, particularly with molecular diagnostics. + 4 years of proven experience managing a team. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + Strong intuition for business and a consistent track record to develop and maintain professional and personal relationships with key business partners and customers positively impacting business growth. + Executive presence with strong communication and presentation capabilities. + Interest in developing high functioning teams with strong leadership capabilities. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed decisions. + Demonstrated success working in a global, matrixed-environment with ability to influence without direct authority effectively driving large scale initiatives from a business and cultural standpoint. + Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools is desirable. + Willingness to travel up to 25%, both domestic and internationally. **Compensation and Benefits** The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $143,000.00–$191,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
