Summary of This Role

Responsible for managing marketing, advertising and promotional activities for various products or channels. Takes steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the position and image of the company through various goals and objectives. Plan and execute day-to-day marketing activities in support of a product, service or channel. Help prepare and adhere to budgets. Oversee creation and delivery of advertising and marketing materials and ensure brand messages are consistent. Collaborate with sales and product to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution the identified opportunities.

What Part Will You Play?

Defines strategy for general marketing functions. Leads, oversees and participates in general marketing functions that are typically significant in size and significantly complex and unique in nature and requires extensive contact with internal and/or external clients. Fully accountable for all financial aspects of marketing function and owns and manages budgets, which could be involve multi-million dollar budgets.Leads and oversees collaboration with business development, customers, product management, sales, and other business partners in support of client-customized, content-rich marketing collateral, such as proposals, corporate communication, and other marketing related information for marketing plans with significantly large budgets. Drives strategy and innovation for marketing plans and determines the approach for the marketing process.Leads strategic marketing plans for existing lines and new marketing opportunities, and interprets plans into "big ideas" to extend the company's brand vision. Leads interactions with clients.Leads and monitors the strategic direction, growth, and vision of assigned strategic growth objectives for segment and leads and manages the execution of programs.Leads and oversees the development of multiple pieces of promotional and advertising materials, such as press releases, social and digital media published on-line via web sites, twitter, etc.Develops strategic relationships and manages and develops relationships with internal contacts, external communications consultants, and/or agencies. Meets with internal and/or external clients to understand their ongoing strategies and how relationships can be strengthened within the client’s organization.Leads the development of product promotion and launch strategies.Leads as a marketing advocate, communications consultant, and/or liaison for business support units and/or operational units. Advises leaders in those units on specific communications issues and strategic growth initiatives and coordinates appropriate marketing resources to achieve their functional goals.Develops, monitors and oversees return on investment (ROI) for marketing projects within the specific goals of building and delivering campaigns, such as internal and external communications, product launches, new business units, acquisitions, and RFP/RFI proposals within planned scope, schedule, cost and quality, and trade shows/events. Monitors and compares investment to ROI and adjusts strategy as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer experience of managing marketing service or marketing agency activities. Prefer sales force and email automation experience. Prefer payments industry experience.
