Senior Manager, Finance

DaVita is seeking an ambitious, operationally-focused and results-driven leader to join our National Hospital Services Group (HSG). The Senior Manager, Finance for National Hospital Services will spearhead the financial activities for DaVita’s Acute Dialysis Services business. Reporting to the Director, Finance for Hospital Services, this role will be instrumental in leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and financial modelling initiatives for the business. This role requires a highly analytical leader who can work independently and possess an entrepreneurial spirit and will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of finance professionals.

Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis:

Partner on annual budget processes and monthly financial reporting, analyzing variances and developing strategies to address financial gapsContribute to long-range strategic planning in collaboration with Corporate Finance and Strategy teamsWork with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights, business drivers, and key metrics to internal stakeholdersIdentify & lead work streams to improve financial processes

Project Management and Operational Support:

Take ownership of various finance-related projects, driving them from conception to implementation without extensive oversightWork closely with the Director, Finance for Hospital Services to support initiatives that drive the expansion and profitability of HSG

Financial Modeling, New Business Contracting, and Data Analytics:

Develop sophisticated financial models to support pricing decisions and serve as a strategic thought partner in contract negotiations with hospitalsProvide detailed analyses of key operational data to measure the ongoing performance of the business and enhancing decision-making processesUtilize tools like Anaplan and Tableau for advanced planning and analytics

Leadership and Team Development:

Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvementResponsible for talent acquisition, development, and retention within the team

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related fieldAt least 6 years of experience in FP&A, Investment Banking, or a related financial role, with a preference for experience in healthcare or a related industryProven expertise in financial modeling and data analysis with a strong command of Excel and other analytical toolsDemonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a teamStrong executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skillsFamiliarity with finance and analytics systems like Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan, and Tableau preferred

Travel Required: Up to 5-10% nationally

Salary/ Wage Range

$110,000.00 - $161,000.00 / year
