The selected candidate will work out of the Richardson or Birmingham office and will work closely with and report directly to the Director of Claims, Arbitration and Subrogation. The Senior Manager will assist the leadership team in the development, communication, and execution of the Claims organization’s strategic initiatives. The role involves a strong focus on Audit, Reporting, as well as Quality and Customer Service Improvements. Some travel may be required. This role requires a highly resourceful professional who is organized, self-motivated, and collaborative. The Senior Manager may be responsible for leading Arbitration and Subrogation Leadership meetings on behalf of the Director. The Senior Manager will assist the Director with strategic priorities and may coordinate communications to ensure overall efficient operations. **Position Responsibilities** + Scope, plan and execute multiple, often quick turnaround projects with minimal assistance. + Coordinates strategic meetings, documentation and deliverables. Sets pace for meeting key timelines and manages expectations. + Provides key information and analysis to ensure alignment with the overall business strategy. + Collaborates with other Kemper Leaders to ensure all department and company goals are met. + Provides leadership and direction to multiple Arbitration and Subrogation teams. + Conducts regular file reviews and leadership audits for the Arbitration and Subrogation Team. + Grants reserve and settlement authority as needed and within scope of handling. + Must work in multiple systems (Claims Center, E-Subro Hub, Tableau Reporting, etc.) to prepare reports as needed to oversee multiple teams and as requested by the Director. **Position Qualifications:** + Personal Auto insurance experience required + 8+ years of experience in a Leadership role preferred + Strong Claims background + College Degree required, or commensurate business experience + Completion or active pursuit of AIC/CPCU designations is desirable + TX or FL Adjuster’s license is required. + This position will start fully onsite for the training period. Once training is completed this will transition to onsite with occasional work from home opportunities out of our Richardson or Birmingham location. The range for this position is $95,900 to $159,700. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors.
