We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager of CEO Social to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy for our CEO, ensuring that his voice and vision are effectively communicated across all social platforms.

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead complex communication projects and campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Develop and execute advanced communication strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.Collaborate with senior leadership to identify communication opportunities and challenges.Implement best practices for communication management and reporting.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all communication efforts.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the communications team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager of CEO Social to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy for our CEO, ensuring that his voice and vision are effectively communicated across all social platforms. This person will be part of the Corporate Affairs organization and work closely with the chief-of-staff to the CEO. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media trends, a background in the technology or payments industries, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for the CEO, aligning with PayPal’s overall communication goals and brand voice.

Content Creation: Develop engaging and impactful content, including posts, videos, and graphics, that highlight the CEO’s thought leadership, company initiatives, and industry insights. This person should have deep knowledge of how to amplify product specific content, a keen understanding of the developer community and customer-obsessed mindset.

Community Management: Monitor and manage the CEO’s social media accounts, engaging with followers, responding to comments, and fostering a positive online community.

Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimize content and strategy.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including PR, marketing, and executive communications, to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with broader company objectives.

Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address any potential issues or negative feedback on social media.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in social media management, communications, or public relations, with a focus on executive communications.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Skills:

Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities.

Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience with social media analytics tools and platforms.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $111,500 to $191,950
