We are seeking a high-potential Senior Manager, Strategic Categories Projects who will have the opportunity to support the Senior Director, Category Strategy on driving transformational growth across our brands. This role is designed as a steppingstone for a future Director-level leader, providing deep exposure to innovation strategy, cross-category collaboration a consumer-centric marketing. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can define how we launch innovations, embed a mindful snacking approach across all categories and algin our portfolio across categories to the day-to-day of the consumer.
WHAT THIS TEAM AND ROLE DOES
**Innovation & Growth Acceleration**
+ Define the strategy for launching innovations across brands in service of our big growth missions
+ Identify, drive and champion bold innovation ideas across categories/brands that will drive category expansion, sufficiency and brand differentiation
+ Frame the business case(s) demonstrating incremental growth and value creation for the company
+ Assess the sufficiency of our innovation pipeline and determine how R&D should evolve to support breakthrough growth
**Embedding Mindful Snacking Across Categories**
+ Lead the transformation of all categories to include better-for-you options, ensuring our portfolio aligns with evolving consumer needs
+ Lead projects to help drive household penetration and increase consumer awareness
+ Work cross-functionally with product development, marketing and regulatory teams to establish clear standards for Mindful Snacking for each brand
+ Develop a roadmap for embedding health, wellness and sustainability into our innovation strategy
**Consumer Centric Marketing Evolution**
+ Redefine how we market our brands to ensure they align with consumer’s daily lives, needs and consumption occasions
+ Partner with Insights teams to understand changing consumer behaviors and translate them into actionable marketing strategies
+ Collaborate with brand teams to develop new messaging frameworks that enhance brand relevance and engagement
**What extra ingredients you will bring:**
+ 7+ years of experience in category strategy, innovation, consumer marketing or R&D strategy role within CPG or relevant industry
+ University degree in Business, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred)
+ Ability to shape long-term growth strategies and challenging existing paradigms
+ Experience working with product innovation teams, category management or R&D functions
+ Deep understanding of consumer trends, wellness movements and modern marketing approaches
+ Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across marketing, R&D and category teams
+ Strong leadership presence with the ambition and capability to take on a Director-level role next
+ Proficient in category data analysis, consumer insights tools and marketing strategy framework
The base salary range for this position is $137,300 to $188,825; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
