Amazon Global Selling (AGS) has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Today, more than 50% of Amazon’s total unit sales come from third-party selection. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 18 overseas stores, and supporting local sellers’ success and growth on Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally.
The Role
The Central Product & Program Management Office (PMO) collaborates with AGS business teams and many of Amazon’s global teams to empower high-growth global selling, continuously uncover new opportunities, and spearhead new initiatives to drive organization/seller growth and success. We are seeking a transformational leader to build and manage a team driving organization-wide process excellence and change management initiatives. In this critical role, you’ll architect and implement comprehensive process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reduce complexity, and create sustainable organizational change. You will leverage technologies, including AI and automation tools, to reimagine how work gets done while ensuring successful adoption through thoughtful change management approaches. You will partner with business/functional teams and leadership to identify operational bottlenecks, design future-state processes, and lead the organization through transformative changes. Success in this role will be demonstrated through quantifiable improvements in operational excellence, team productivity, and successful adoption of optimized ways of working.
Key job responsibilities
Process Excellence and Transformation
* Lead comprehensive process assessment, redesign, and implementation initiatives while developing frameworks for standardization and continuous improvement
* Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies through systematic workflow analysis and optimization
* Establish and maintain process governance, including documentation standards and effectiveness metrics
Change Management and Adoption
* Design and execute change management strategies, including communication plans and stakeholder alignment initiatives
* Build cross-functional coalitions and drive organizational buy-in through strategic engagement and influence
* Develop and implement training programs while monitoring adoption metrics to ensure sustainable transformation
Technology Enablement
* Identify and evaluate technology opportunities to enable process improvements, recommending solutions that align with business objectives
* Lead the implementation of technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration with optimized processes
* Drive adoption of technology solutions through proper change management and training approaches
Program Leadership
* Lead multiple transformation initiatives simultaneously while managing stakeholder expectations and removing obstacles
* Deliver regular updates on transformation progress and value creation to leaders and stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in process improvement and program management
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
- Strong background in process improvement methodologies
- Track record of successful stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels
- Experience in developing and implementing change management strategies
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in equivalent field
- Experience with AI/ML implementation in process improvement
- Experience in technology-driven transformation initiatives
