Title: Sr Inventory Coordinator
Location: Rockwood, TN
Hours: Swing Shift | Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 6:30pm
What will you do?
Your daily tasks will include:
Responsible for cycle counting & performing inventory moves as required within virtual warehouses across 6,000 SKU’s & $10M+ in inventory.Responsible for daily location consolidations, country of origin checks/changes, lot control projects, etc.Backup to VOMI/Consignment clerk to ensure all VOMI moves are completed accurately and in a timely matterCoordinate with Customer Service, Export Order Coordinator, Domestic Order Coordinator or Inventory Manager to handle special lot holds, customer requests, cycle counts, etc.Directly support the Inventory Manager and Financial Controller on successful completion of the annual physical inventory.Support the development of improved work procedures, processes for improvement, and promote safe work practices.Willingness to cross-train on the Export Order Processor and the Domestic Order Processor positions in order to develop additional resources / talent for the Site.Use ERP and WMS daily to monitor, investigate, and help maintain overall inventory accuracy at the Site Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.Minimum requirements
Education, Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalentThree years’ experience in distribution or factory environmentProven experience with ERP & WMS systems as well as RF GunsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to operate turret truck, order picker, and sit down forkliftPrinciples and practices of inventory control and significant attention to detail.Effective computer skills not limited to but including Word and Excel.Database knowledge to create inventory / movement-based reports and perform analysis.Display effective written and oral interpersonal skills to interact with all departments within the building.The ability to manage and handle multiple priorities in a time sensitive environment.Demonstrate Thermo Fisher Scientific values – Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and InvolvementPhysical Activities:

Level of Physical Requirements:
Occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Ability to drive (or learn to) motorized forklift, order picker, and turret truck at heights up to 20’.
