ABOUT THE ROLE
\nHoneywell is currently recruiting for a Sr HSE Engineer to join the team in Shreveport, LA.
\nIn this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing HSE support for UOP manufacturing facility, partnering with cross-functional facility teams and leaders. You will provide support to operational teams and conduct various Health, Safety, and Environmental related activities to ensure regulatory and company requirement compliance.
\nYou will interact with employees and supervisors to coach on HSE issues. Influence plant personnel to improve HSE standards through use of standard work, Gembas, rapid problem solving, and visual management.
\nYou will report to the site HSE Manager and work at the Shreveport facility in person.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nImplementation, monitoring and supporting HSE programs/policies to ensure compliance with applicable HS&E guidelines, regulations, permits and standards.\nConduct HSE field assessments and audits.\nAssisting in the development of a HSE Training for employees\nImplementation, monitoring and supporting of company Behavior Based Safety Program.\nResponsible for driving continuous improvement throughout the site and as well as team in support of Honeywell's Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems and Honeywell's Operating System related activities.\nInfluence positive HSE behaviors and demonstrate hazard recognition to improve the Health, Safety, and Environmental culture.\nYOU MUST HAVE
\n\nMinimum 5 years Health and Safety experience.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n\nWE VALUE
\n\nCollege Degree (Bachelor or Associates).\nHSE Certifications (CIH, RSO, CSP, CHMM) highly desired.\nStrong Safety Background strongly preferred.\n1+ years of manufacturing or chemical industry experience.\nProven experience facilitating safety culture.\n\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL
