Sr HR Analyst, EEO and HR Compliance
If you are an HR Analyst with an understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) law related statistics, data analyses, testing, selection, and compensation equity analyses, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our St. Louis, Missouri location, you will collect, prepare, review, combine and clean the large Human Resources data sets required for EEO planning and reporting, ensuring completeness and accuracy. This position requires collaboration with other team members, and HR colleagues across the United States and globally.   In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Prepare federal and state EEO related reports including AAPs for Veterans & Individuals with Disability, compensation analyses applying multiple regression methods, EEO-1 and VETS-4212 filings, California Pay Data reports, Illinois Pay Certification, Barrier Analyses related to selection procedures, validation studies, and other statistical analyses related to EEO. Identify, research, and resolve data irregularities Partner with the Global Human Resources Information Systems team, Total Rewards, and HR Business Partners to improve record-keeping systems for completeness and accuracy Participate in global projects with an EEO component such as Pay Transparency, Artificial Intelligence in HR processes, and Dashboard design and implementation. Develop project plans, manage timelines and ensure project steps are completed and progress in a timely fashion, and regulatory filings are timely filed. Synthesize workforce data. Research and recommend mitigation strategies based upon data-based insights.  Provide support during government audits such as U.S. DOL-OFCCP compliance evaluations, ICE I-9 inspections, etc.   Who You Are: You acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems. You dig for root causes of a problem and look for patterns. You pick up on situational cues and adjust in the moment.
  For This Role, You Will Need: MA/MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Labor Economics, Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management & Industrial Relations, or related field, or equivalent industry experience  3 or more years of Human Resources experience Proficiency with MS Office, particularly in Excel is required  Occasional travel to Emerson facilities required   Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: 1 - 4 years of experience, education, or internship directly related to federal EEO laws (preferred – not required) Prior experience with general purpose statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, or R preferred Conceptual understanding of EEO statistical methods and interpretation of statistical data including: t-test, Fisher’s Exact Test, correlation, multiple regression analysis, etc. Experience with Berkshire BALANCEaap software or equivalent preferred Must have attention to detail and ability to work under multiple timelines Working knowledge of related federal EEO laws and regulations including Title VII, Section 503 of Rehabilitation Act, Section 4212 of the VEVRAA, UGESP, EPA, etc. preferred Familiarity with OFCCP audit protocol and regulations preferred
