regarding financial operations andinformationResponsibilitiesbull Performs statistical cost and financial analysis of data extracted fromvarious internal sources Prepares reports based on findings includinghealth care costs provider contracts debt capacity revenue and profitabilitybull Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processes Assistswith budget review for compliance and identification of cost savingopportunitiesbull Serves as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision supportfor initiatives policies and proceduresbull Performs special projects and duties as assigned including researchforecasting and exploring viable alternativesbull Involved in annual operating and capital budget process including creatingbudget files budget training and creating reports used in approval processbull Assists management in managing both productivity and volumes by providing summary and detailed statistical reports showing resource consumption and unit costsbull Develops recovery plan in coordination with function lead and service linemanagers in the event a department is under performing against budgettargetsbull Prepares and presents a variety of budgetary informational and statisticalreports and makes recommendations in writing graphic and oralpresentationsbull Assists in required external reporting ensuring accuracy and compliance withstate
