Sr Financial Analyst
**Description** **Job Summary and Qualifications** HCA Graduate Medical Education (GME) is the largest sponsor of residency and fellowship training programs across the nation. HCA hospitals currently train more than 5,000 residents and fellows with that number growing to nearly 7,000 by 2030. The Senior Financial Analyst will play an important role on the GME Finance team. The position will focus on improving our ability to track and manage GME financial data through accurate and timely cost analysis and allocations. The analyst will play an important role in performance benchmarking, budgeting and forecasting. This person will be responsible for the implementation of new processes that will improve our ability to make strong financial decisions. This role is based in Brentwood, TN; 4 days in office, 1 day work from home. **Job Summary And Qualifications** + Interpreting data concerning financial trends and forecasts. + Preparing monthly analysis and reporting on financial statements. + Utilizing statistical, economic, and financial principles and techniques to prepare reports such as pro formas, projections and other ad hoc requests. + Preparing annual projections and budgets. + Developing new processes for proper allocation of costs. + Monitor and reporting historical trends + Working with hospital CFOs, Controllers and Accountants on several financial related initiatives concerning the GME service line. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + Knowledge of accounting theory, principles and practices sufficient to identify and describe accounting systems and sub-systems + Knowledge of the financial accounting process + Knowledge of research techniques to analyze and evaluate financial data + Knowledge of accounting information systems + Ability to analyze and interpret large financial datasets **Education** + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field is required. + Master’s Degree in Accounting is preferred, but not required. **Experience** + A minimum of 3 years in a financial analyst or accounting role, preferably in healthcare + Project Management experience is strongly preferred + Senior in Big 4 audit environment a plus + 3 Ps – Potential, Personality and Past Experience **Software** + Advanced Excel and database usage/knowledge are required, Hyperion Essbase, Business Objects, HOST (General Ledger) and Salesforce desired. **Benefits** HCA Healthcare, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
